Even a Muse

Must Enjoy an Occasional

May 24th Week-End

Off

(A Poem of Writer’s Block by Brad Locke)

Ten minutes sitting in front of this screen blank, waiting for words to come.
Nothing does.

Emptiness.
Hollowed.
Echoes of silence.
Deafening whispers of nothings.
Muted screams
Void
Implosion is imminent.

Fifteen minutes sitting in front of this screen, not so blank, waiting for words to change.
Nothing does.

But Hey!

I am at work
so I am getting paid

for this

Blame Zero to Hero for not getting a story today. Use a different format they said. People will like the change they said. People don't come here to read my poems. *mumble grumble*
