I read this in a news report today.

“NASA is warning the public not to touch possible satellite debris they find. The materials themselves are not hazardous, but people could be cut by the sharp metal edges.”

Isn’t it funny how NASA, seemingly unconcerned that one of their 12000 lb satellites is about to crash into earth completely out of control, is extreamely worried that someone on the planet may accidently cut their finger?

Methinks there might be a missing clause in their insurance policy. They are covered for destruction of property and death in case of a crash landing, but do to some oversight, learned that in case of an accidental laceration after the crash they are not immune from liability.
