I think it’s like a time machine for your mouth.

Let your tastebuds travel back in time.

It’s made with real sugar.

Real Sugar....Really!

What was it made with before? Imaginary sugar? Fake sugar? Pretend sugar? Kinda sugar? Sugar-like stuff?

Does this mean there may be a trend of seeing other throw-back products in the future? Cereal with choking-hazard toys prizes? Playthings with lead-based paint? Tuna with real mercury? Non-curly light bulbs? Unwrapped halloween candy corn? Oreo-Cookies made with trans-fat. Chicken nuggets made with chicken? Taco’s made with other stuff then the stuff they are now made with? It’s like having a time-machine for your mouth (and health warnings for your heart).

  1. After some internet research, I’m fairly certain that “real sugar” means cane sugar which they are using in place of the high fructose corn syrup found in most soft drinks. As a side note, did you know that Pepsi was originally called “Brad’s Drink”? Of course, since this was in 1893, I assume it was a different Brad… unless you are a lot older than I thought! :p

  2. Canadians (particularly my family) also eat ice cream in the winter. It’s a good food group. … ahem… dessert. Riiiiiight. Yeah.

I would like to see convenience stores have the house-shaped clear plastic display of loose 1 and 5 cent candies. Of course, I’d like to see them at the 1 and 5 cent prices, but that’s not going to happen. I could buy 10 cents of gummi bears, and another 15 cents of sour peaches and the rest (12 cents) in chocolate yummies. Fun times.

  3. Haha, this is great! It’s kind of like when McDonalds commercials boast about using “100% real beef”, and you’re like, “what the hell was I eating before?” What the heck really goes into our food, that’s what I want to know. Maybe vegans have it right…

  4. I rather have real sugar than fructos syurp. To me,there’s many talks about what’s heathier than later says it’s not healty. Like tomatoes can be bad for you, then it’s healthy.
Besides as if people didn’t eat fruit before. And that can be other than beef we are eating @ resturants. Who knows?
